Loud!

This is the first of my typography designs. Here's why it works:

1. The pale shade of red in the way back pulls the vibrant red letters forward,

2. The glowing neon outline makes the word jump from the background,

3. The dark background has a stark contrast from the word itself,

4. The background's explosive edges give the illusion that the word is literally popping off the page, and

 5. The word "loud" being front and center draws your attention directly to it as the most important part of the piece.
